been up and about quite abit these past few days. but seeing thats its with the people who matter the most to me right now, its all good. had pastamania buffet with youloo daryl and the royal mfing prince ah hum on friday. yes you read right. pastamania buffet. cpf building, thurdays and fridays from 5 to 830. eat your heart out. had some lambrini, alcoholic pear juice with no taste of pear at all. looks like white wine, tastes like wine. ah hum the 'prince' couldnt hold his drink too well..he could barely stand after two sips haha.
then on saturday i had pastamania. yes, again. i've probably ingested enough pasta to last a lifetime. celebrated cerise's birthday, complete with some insanely delicious nydc cake. gotta find me some more of that. after dinner we did the usual standing around and aimless walking, the same thing we do everytime lol.
been meaning to address some issues but everytime i wanna do it, i suddenly get overcome with laziness haha...guess it'll have to wait for one of the times when i'm moody and moping around with nothing else to do.
oh and yes, could you please leave it alone already? its stale beyond stale, no one needs to hear that sorta stuff anymore.

here's a business plan that's doomed to fail. imagine if you will, a dating agency with a twist. instead of getting a bunch of sad desperate people together in the hope that they hook up, take said bunch of people and throw them into a swimming pool. sit back and watch as they thrash about wildly. eventually those that know how to swim would save the rest, while those that unfortunately perish can be covered by insurance. as its all held at a swimming pool, there would be no need to dress for the occasion. no suits, ties or fancy dresses. no need to touch-up the make up or constantly worry how your hair is holding up. its all gonna be wet anyway. after the participants are thoroughly soaked, let them unwind by the poolside, lounging on deck chairs with a drink in hand
now if you've been reading carefully (or even not reading at all) you would have noticed that its all a load of crap haha. thats the product of untold boredom colliding with insanity. shoot me if i ever pursue such a plan. better yet, shoot my ideas consultant dee for coming up with such a 'brilliant' idea. its so good that it deserves a nobel prize. the piss (peace) prize hahahaha

no, its not what you think. i picked up a novel for the first time in like months, and proceeded to devour it in like 12 hours. impressive eh? guess i've always liked reading. kept telling myself 'one more chapter, one more and i'll go sleep' . well it didn't help that the book i was reading wasn't divided into chapters, so i just kept going on haha. one hour rolled into two, and two soon became three.
gonna troop down to the library later and find somemore reading material haha. oh and my spider died. forgot to leave the bottle cap open so it could get air :\

h-h-h-hock unit! i'm back ... finally shaken off the stupor induced by my extended holiday cos of nationals. the to-do list has been pared down to "somethings" instead of "everything". but things are gonna stay quite hectic. gonna have to juggle work, play and rest for the remainder of the year. i don't intend to compromise on either of these. well i might compromise on the work if i'm feeling lazy haha.
i caught a spider in class today. really brings us back to our parents' time when they caught bugs and had lots of fun, even without computers, handphones and everything else. i trapped the spider in a coke bottle and it was fun to mess with it haha. but denise didn't share my affinity with spiders. i left my new pet with her for one short moment and when i returned the thing was dead. DEAD. it didn't move. it even laid flat on its back with legs curled up. either it was a victim of coke poisoning or someone just didn't know how to take care of it haha. but strangely, after awhile the spider came back to life! the damn bugger was playing dead haha. quite smart. but not smart enough. cornered it and it met a swift return to captivity. so right now i've got a new pet. anyone know what spiders eat?

nationals are finally over. the first (and last) of my school life. and its been really great. the experiences i've taken away from this are second to none. and i'm like dead tired after washing my school uniform soaked in chlorine water (don't ask). luckily my sneakers didn't suffer the same fate haha.

i hate being alone.
you'd think that after 18 years of this, i'd be accustomed to it already, but unfortunately thats not the case. you know that feeling of being stuck home alone with nothing to do, no one to talk with? well imagine that happening to you on a regular basis. it plain sucks. now some people say having time to yourself is good. true, if you're around people all the time and want some breathing space. however its a total bummer if you're around NOBODY for prolonged periods. tell me what good some 'alone time' would be now eh?
i'm not saying i'm lonely. to be lonely would be to have no friends to talk to, to feel unwanted and not needed. thankfully i've been spared from that. but too much time spent alone is just a waste of time i think. unless i learn to talk to myself...which would be really really sad.

my hair has sustained severe chlorine damage.
i have strangely developed a liking for red bull.
thanks to everyone who wished me luck and those who came down too =)
i like the toa payoh pool. alot.
i don't like sitting around for hours with nothing to do.
i like not having to go to school.
i like having free-flow of milo everyday.
i dislike certain irritatingpeople person.
i like listening to lose yourself to get in the zone.
idislike hate having goggles fall off after a plunge.
i hate having my eyes fog up because of the above incident(s).
when its raining, the water is warm. when its sunny, the water is cold.
its essential to have both hp + ipod at the ready to stave off boredom. you can't people-watch the whole day.
i love all of you. really. some more so than others.
if i weren't broke i would own some crocs by now, increasing my footwear count by 1.

youth day? what obscure forsaken concept might this be? how ironic that i've spent this whole day failing to consider that its actually 'youth day' . it didn't really hit me till i saw it spelled out explictly on alex's blog. and so what if its youth day... did most of us spend it celebrating and cherishing our youth? perhaps. but probably not. because we're still young and half the time we're actually wishing we're older.
